I’d love to know your thoughts, questions, or opinions! Your response will be posted after I have received it. I may take up to 72 hrs. to post. When there are thunderstorms in the metro Atlanta, Georgia area, I unplug everything. Unfortunately, we’ve had numerous storms so far this year. Most often, expect to see your post within hours of sending it to me, but in case of weather problems, it will take longer, hence the 72 hours on the long end. I am sorry for this inconvenience, but due to widespread anti-Semitism, I need to approve of your blog before I post it. Thanks for your consideration.

This Sunday, we as a nation will celebrate Father’s Day. I am addressing those of you who call yourselves fathers, but in fact are not. Biologically, you may indeed have created children. A REAL Father loves his children and always has their best interests at heart. Will he make mistakes? Of course, but if he loves his children and treats them with the respect they deserve (as per the Noahide* laws, which are universal mandates - or commandments - which G-d gave to Moses to pass on to the world as a code of morals and ethics for everyone to follow), then he would never take and keep his children from their mother.

You read this correctly. As shocking as this is, there are an awful lot of children this happens - and has happened - to. If you have done this, quite frankly, you are a MONSTER, NOT A FATHER. This is not love. This is not respect. This is done for the sole purpose of devastating the mother
as retaliation against her for leaving an abusive relationship. These men are called SOCIOPATHS, and they will take things one step further, they lie to their children about their mother, they lie to their new wives, they lie to their families, they lie, they lie, they lie. . . . You may have noticed I didn’t mention friends. Sociopaths have no friends. Instead, there are peripheral people they use for their own purposes. Sociopaths are great con men. They act nice to your face, then they go home and tell their wives and children why the person they were just nice to is a jerk (or other derogatory term). That’s because they are always preparing for a justification of why they don’t ever speak to that person again (when the opportunity arises). They can’t maintain relationships, they are habitual liars, are controlling, they try to foist their own tastes and beliefs onto others, and by the way, they don’t believe in G-d.

“Treat everyday as if it were Yom Kippur, (the Jewish day of atonement).” This is wisdom from the sages that has been passed down to us. What this means is, while we all make mistakes and even sin, each day is a new chance to atone, attempt to make amends, and start over. For those men out there who have kept their children from their mother, congratulations. You have succeeded in devastating your ex, smashing her heart into pieces, and, more often than not, taking away her will to live. What a man. If you are still keeping your children away from their mother, then you are still angry. GROW UP!!!!!

Judaism - as well as, I believe, most other religions - teaches us to take care of and assume responsibility for the welfare of our households.

Your children are the ones you have hurt the MOST. That’s right, I repeat, YOUR CHILDREN ARE THE ONES YOU HAVE HURT THE MOST. You have ripped their hearts out and caused them irreparable pain. I’ve spoken to women who married such men, and have often been told by them, their children turn to crime, and/or feel they are unworthy of love.

The irony is this: those same children you took and kept away from their mother WILL grow up (if your abuse hasn’t killed them or they haven’t already killed themselves) and hate you. THEY WON’T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH YOU ONCE THEY ARE OUT OF YOUR HOUSE. THEY WILL FIND THEIR MOTHERS AT SUCH A TIME AND WILL LEARN THE TRUTH. THEY WILL ALSO NEED THERAPY FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES. In case you don’t get the irony, I’ll spell it out for you: your vengeance, and narcissistic nature, will backfire on you. If you grow old, you will grow old alone. Further, it is ironic because you hurt yourself with all of your anger. Anger causes a lot of health problems, thus negatively affecting your body.

If you have already done this, there is no way to fix things. BUT, if you treat today like Yom Kippur, it will go a long way towards helping all of your family member’s souls. Admit your immaturity. Admit you were wrong. Apologize for hurting them and for the lies you have told them. Reunite your children with their mothers. Do this for your children, do this for yourself. The pain you have caused can never be healed, but if your children are intelligent, they will - probably after a lot of time has passed - forgive you. If you are lucky, you truly change, and place your children before yourself, when they are older your children will respect you and will understand how hard it is to change. One of my teachers once told me a big reason John Kennedy was a great President, and a great man, is because he understood that it is only when we have strength that we can admit we’ve made mistakes. It is in fact, a weakness when one attempts to hide and deny his/her mistakes. That is the COWARD’S way.

So on this Father’s Day, BECOME A FATHER. Reunite your children with their mother. Admit your mistakes. Change the future. Become a REAL MAN, one who deserves respect, and one who is truly brave and strong.

If I have helped even one child to reunite with his/her mother, and helped one man to truly become a father, then this blog will have achieved its purpose. Judaism teaches that “to save one life, is to save the world”. I hope that I have made a difference in this way. For anyone who takes this brave and difficult step towards changing the future, I wish you from the bottom of my heart, HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!!!!! May G-d bless you and keep you, may he raise his countenance to you, and let us say, AMEN.
